06. »BGN Employee Management« – UI Platform Redesign
The Food and Hospitality Trade Association (BGN), based in Mannheim, has been the statutory accident insurance company for companies in the food, beverage and hotel industry.
Workers in these industries must receive instructions to avoid accidents. That is why BGN offers companies a platform where workers can be organized according to their sector and work schedules, and at the same time record who has been trained, in what and when.
Together with my project manager at dev:term, I had the responsibility of improving the application's interface, especially the usability but maintaining its design system.

Together with my project manager at dev:term, I had the responsibility of improving the application's interface, especially the usability but maintaining its design system.
After reviewing the requirements and limitations, I created a user flow to simplify the user's steps. In the old design, the user flow was very convoluted, there were several extra steps and confusing navigation.
By defining the new simplified and more practical user flow, I was able to improve the visual design of the interface, adding hierarchie, defining sections, greater contrast, efficient use of colors and clearer navigation. I delivered a high-fidelity prototype.
