The world of the future will be a technological paradise, full of machines and without tedious human labor. In this project, I tried bringing that utopia closer by automating an object or situation in an absurd funny way.
I learned the foundations of how to work with code and material, programming and electronics, and the relationship of code to the things it animates.
My idea was to automate a gohst that instead of scaring you in the dark, will light your way to the bathroom or kitchen. I did a prototype of it.

After having the concept and prototype of my automation, I coded my obejct so it could interact not only with physical sensitivity but also have a voice interaction. I used Google’s Teachable Machine platform to first train a model to recognize sound and voice, and later coded it with the Arduino on my object.
This process was learning and laughing, taking the idea of automation to its hilarious extremes.
